Mama Mia in Dortmund

A few weeks ago there was so much going on at Mama Mia's that we were unfortunately forgotten. We were then called promptly and we were promised free delivery next time. Promises were kept and there was GOOD wine! TOP customer care :)

Picked up myself, so the parking space in the yard is a real plus, the food was flawless

Too long waiting time. Pizza consists almost entirely of dough and little topping. Better to order elsewhere.

The pizza is delicious in itself. Unfortunately, I just ordered a pizza with rocket and parmesan for my girlfriend (the price is usually between 7 and 8 euros). When I looked at the menu afterwards, I realized that a margherita with rocket (+ € 3) and parmesan (+ € 2.50) would be billed here. This was confirmed to me when I asked. Unfortunately I have to say that I find € 12.50 for a pizza with parmesan and rocket more than excessive. So I can't understand the gastronomic calculation. Unfortunately this ruined my appetite and I will no longer order from this restaurant. I'm really sorry, but I thought that was really outrageous.

Disgusting to look at. And as is well known, the eyes eat with them. Ordered online, waited far too long for it (via Lieferando), things only started to move after a phone call, and then something like that. All of the friends on FB found it sickening to watch too. It should be penne al tonno fresco, but fresh tuna looks a little different. Thanks, never again. Over 20 or even 30 years ago it used to be a nice little Italian restaurant. It's a shame if something like that is being hawked.

A super nice place ... with delicious food and nice service .... I enjoyed delicious grilled fish and was served by Heike ... thanks again.

The waitresses are always very nice and extremely courteous. This gives me and my husband a lot of joy every time they visit, and I was completely positively surprised. We'll all be back for sure, the decoration in the squares and throughout the restaurant is decent and beautiful. The toilets are always clean and all in all the place gives a very good impression. What I can really support are the desserts. My siblings and I have been there for the fifth time and have tested a little new every time we visit.

The food was good, but the service was sometimes quite rough. But is dependent on employees, most of them were very friendly.

The quality of the dishes is ok, the service leaves a lot to be desired. We were able to look forward to the meal for over an hour. In between, the staff did not ask for drink orders. Too bad.

I passed this shop in search of something to eat and I'm glad I went inside. Highly recommended, price-performance ratio is very good. The guys are extremely nice and there is no long wait.

An appealing atmosphere, also outside. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The food was very tasty. Price and performance match. Gladly again.

We have made use of the in-house delivery service and are convinced! The Italian-style pizzas were very tasty and topped with fresh, high-quality products. We will now order here regularly!

The ambience may be very chic, the presentation of the food is also successful, but the quality cannot keep up with the visual. (Spices seem to be missing?) Also some of the dishes were unfortunately very indigestible! Service seems to depend on the form of the day ??? Quite apart from that, I find the size of the portions (very small) really inadequate in relation to the price (very expensive) I highly recommend the restaurant to focus more on the freshness and quality (possibly also storage / preparation) of the goods in the future !!! Nobody wants to pay a lot of money for a meal in order to feel uncomfortable afterwards !!! Maybe another one to work a bit on the preparation and the staff could be a little more hard-working and a little more devoted to the customer!

I hardly know any other Italian restaurant that has been in the same location for so long. Very large interior and also outside easily 40 to 50 seats ... if not more. If the sun rains come, the awning is extended and you stay dry. Even the S-Bahn passing parallel is hardly noticeable. Some parking spaces in front of the door, but also full parking lot. Homemade pasta and very tasty pizza specialties and always fresh and top quality of the dishes. I was always very satisfied with the quality and the price is therefore also right! Highly recommended, would have given it 6 stars.

I'm actually convinced of Mama Mia. On my last visits I have more and more suspicions that ready-made spices and the like are used instead of fresh things. And lots of celery powder to add flavor. The prices are unbeatable - but it has to come from somewhere. My stomach is not doing so well after the pasta with sardines, I better take a longer break here. Too bad: Please again more fresh quality, fewer additives and from me the price up to 2 euros to compensate!

Outside you can sit very comfortably. Inside there is more of a station waiting room atmosphere. The pizza is really great. For me the best pizza in Dortmund. The other food changes from really delicious to really unbelievably bad. Pity!

Nice food and a nice terrace. Food is delicious and well priced. For smaller celebrations it is possible to reserve parts of the restaurant. Everything works flawlessly here with a seating plan and food.

Very nice rustic atmosphere. Good selection of dishes with a balanced price / performance ratio. Very tasty and fresh! Friendly and courteous staff! Parking spaces are in front of the house, which is very useful for visitors, as parking spaces are rare in the area. Pre-orders are possible without any problems and also important because the restaurant is occupied from around 6 p.m. to the last seat!

My home and farm Italian in Dortmund. Fantastic lunch table, super courteous service and great outdoor area, which even has a small playground. In the evening also an excellent place for a romantic meal. I always enjoy coming - and with anticipation. Clear recommendation.

Nice atmosphere, big variety of vines, but the main course was not tasty. And "black" beer was not the one, that I expected.

A cozy place to eat Italian food in Dortmund. The menu has many options and the desserts are really good. You can also enjoy the spirits drinks and beers!

The place is very beautiful and they have a spectacular terrace to enjoy the good weather. The food was of average quality and the prices were a bit high for what was on offer. The service was quite slow and there was a moment when three employees were arguing, there was a bit of tension in the atmosphere. A shame

I was in this restaurant several times. It is quiet ok, but adapted to domestic taste.

Nice place, great food and very friendly staff. Better to make a reservation, especially on weekend time. For disabled people is not so good because of the stairs to the ground.

Absolutely fantastic fish dishes, ordered a surprise 4 course fish meal and it was amazing. That is all I have to say :)

Good italian food, when we were there before christmas 2009 it was a bit loud (christmas dinner tables all around).
